“African-American”?
Chinese-American,
Cuban-American:
Those Are Countries,
Not Continents!
Why The Difference?
This is one of those topics I have been sitting on for months. I just got off the phone with Odessa, who is Black. She said to me, “Why don’t Black people stick together?”
Well, that got my blood boiling. So I dragged out my notes and here we go.
Which one below does NOT belong?
Chinese-Americans
French-Americans
Italian-Americans
Mexican-Americans
German-Americans
Japanese-Americans
Vietnamese-Americans
African-Americans
The answer is “African-Americans”. Why?
Because China is a country.
Because France is a country.
Because Italy is a country.
Because Mexico is a country.
Because Germany is a country.
Because Japan is a country.
Because Vietnam is a country.
And because Africa is a CONTINENT, NOT A COUNTRY!
The French, Germans, Brits, Italians and Spanish have been fighting for millennia. And they all inhabit the Continent of Europe. When was the last time you heard anybody refer to a Brit, Spaniard, German, Frenchman or Italian as a “European-American”? Would “never” be an accurate response? The truth is Europe is not a continent, but a subcontinent of Asia. That’s only Caucasian propaganda. If you don’t believe me, look at the map below:

The connection between Africa and Asia is a very small strip of land. Australia is not connected to anything. But where is the physical separation between Asia and Europe? There is none. The separation is purely political. They lied to you in school. Europe is not a continent – it’s merely a subcontinent of Asia. Got it? Now don’t ever forget it!
That brings me to the Mercator Projection. The globes and maps in use are viewed from the North, which makes Greenland, the USA and European subcontinent appear larger in relation to South America and Africa. This is more Caucasian propaganda. Greenland is not nearly as big as it appears using the Mercator Projection. And the African countries were larger than they appeared using the Mercator Projection.
Does the description in the Bible of Jesus Christ fit blond, blue-eyed Jeffrey Hunter? We’re talking about hair like “lambs wool”, folks. Bethlehem is not on the subcontinent of Asia; it’s a stone’s throw from Africa and the Mediterranean. Jesus was NOT CAUCASIAN.
You already know, from a previous Post, that Queen Cleopatra of Egypt looked nothing like Caucasian Elizabeth Taylor. And Ava Gardner was neither black nor mulatto! But she played one in the movies.
But the worst hoax played upon mankind is that somehow “African-American” is equivalent to all the other hyphenated-American categories. They forgot that Africa is the only continent mentioned. Somehow that just slipped their minds. And Black people have not looked at this propaganda closely enough – well look now!
The Catholics and Protestants, thanks to British helpfulness, in Ireland have been killing each other since who knows when. So we see that Europeans fight each other. Indeed, Irishmen fight amongst themselves because of differing Christian religious denominations. Yet “African-Americans” are supposed to somehow be supportive of one another, when in fact, few of us know what country our forbearers came from. Hell, Cain slew Able, didn’t he? And they were brothers!
So I don’t ever want to hear the term “African-American” again. We lost the connections to our own countries, thanks to Caucasian slave traders and slave owners. For most Black people, that information is lost forever.
I will accept Black, Negro even, but not African-American. Unlike every other ethnic group in America, Blacks are not hyphenated. But then again, we aren’t American either. Are we? Why do you suppose that is? I know; all those responsible initially are long since gone. But I'm talking about 2006. Why are Blacks still 3rd class citizens in America in 2006? And doesn’t the Bible say something about "the sins of the father"?
I think the character was named Philip Nolan in “Man Without A Country”. Well, all Blacks are Philip Nolans. Thank you, Willie Lynch.
If you are Black or White, the next time you feel the urge to ask, “Why don’t Blacks stick together?”; DON’T!
