Tabacco: Everybody can see the Obvious. Few will even consider the Obscure. That’s why great scientists, great inventors, great entrepreneurs, great Presidents – yes, even great writers – become famous while the mundane twaddle along and are exploited by Hoaxers.
President Obama seemingly means well, and he has the right ideas on health care reform more or less. He has even converted Tabacco from the Ideal “Single-Payer” to the Compromise “Public Option”. However he has negotiated in Public with himself, not the Opposition – I think that’s called “Masturbation”!
However, President Obama, you don’t negotiate with yourself, and you certainly don’t negotiate with CRAZIES! I recommend a course in Negotiating 101! And you proselytize the public before, not after you announce any Social program, to preempt the inevitable Corporate Opposition you will get when you attempt to remove a bone from a dog’s plate! Other than that, you’re doing fine!
Having given the President the benefit of a doubt, I must now register this disclaimer.

Suppose President Obama is not what he seems? Is Obama truly a Messiah or just a cleverer Charlatan? He does not have to be the Messiah simply because we want him to be.
Look at the Religious Right and how they deceived themselves because they wanted – needed to believe in George W. Bush! After all, didn’t Bush communicate with God! Most of them are still living in a dream of their own making.
Obama has worked very hard to make the answer “Yes” be the Obvious answer to the Messiah question. But is the Obvious answer correct? Could the correct answer be “No!”, the Obscure answer? Are you so sure it isn’t?
After you read the following 6 Negotiating Tips, ask yourself if you think our illustriously brilliant president has ever read or studied anything comparable. If he has, he certainly has no intention of being a good negotiator. Then ask yourself, “Why not?”
How many of these 6 points has your president violated? Then ask yourself, “Is he dumb or just cleverly ineffectual?’ If we think Obama is on our side, no one would ever question his real motives, now would they! Perhaps Obama is even smarter than even his biggest supporters realize!
The Heritage Foundation is a Conservative Think Tank. Like most Conservative Think Tanks, it cannot – it must not be trusted! So I republish part of their article, not for their opinion, which is worthless, but simply for a definition or factual explanation. I guess they can be trusted to do that?
When a Republican Think Tank titles a section “A Better Alternative: A State Option”, you know they are lying! Your first question should be “Better for whom?” Your second question should be “Why is it better for me, an average citizen?” Then sit back and listen to them equivocate, generalize, filibuster and prevaricate. When they finish, you will feel better, but you won’t know any more than you did before the dissertation began. So hold your nose and read!
A clever demagogue can pretend to support an initiative while bumbling, in fact, to sabotage the effort. Onlookers will say, “Well he tried, but he was ineffectual”.
That’s how Bushites bumbled their way to Billion$! People said, “Bush is not very smart”, and they were right. But Bush wasn’t pulling the strings or concocting the Machiavellian duplicities they were guilty of.
Bush was merely the front man, the Alfred E. Newman or Lee Harvey Oswald, whose job was to deflect the attention, venom and subsequent retaliations of the wounded away from the real planners and schemers. Bush was in fact the “Patsy”! Of course nobody told him that! I’m not sure Bush ever understood how much virulence would be focused on him by those, who knew what the Bushites were up to. But he was well paid for his patsy role and insulated as well as could be reasonably expected. His role would have been Dan Quayle’s if not for that one word “potato”.
Is Obama merely inexperienced or is he something much worse? Is Obama our Messiah or is Obama just the latest in a long line of Judas Goats? Is his role similar to George W. Bush’s? Certainly Obama cannot plead “stupidity”!
His success in that role, if indeed it is his role, will be exposed ultimately because he will be forced to commit acts, which cannot be portrayed as inexperienced or cowardly. When that day comes, Obama’s role as corporate shill and graft taker will have no other possible explanation. And that day will demonstrate to all Independents that Political Ping-Pong between Democrats and Republicans is a Sham and a Farce!
Unfortunately, Americans will probably turn to a rich alternative such as Mike Bloomberg or Ross Perot because of that “Independent” label. That is the WRONG SOLUTION! That would be more of the same!
I do not suggest that all poor men are noble. That idea is as ridiculous as Political Ping-Pong. I do suggest that all rich men, who volunteer to “save” us, are Hypocrites and seek to fill their own purses with more plunder than even they have ever known.
We must draft a candidate, and he should be reluctant, not just seemingly so. Volunteers must always be viewed with skepticism, mistrust and watched early and often. The office of President is a magnet for “Get Rich Quick” Capitalists, regardless of party label.
The idea that Party makes the man only applies to Republicans. No Republican, who is honest, will ever get near the nomination. I don’t know of any high echelon Republicans, who are honest!
However, no Democrat, who is honest, will ever get near the nomination either. Not because he is a Democrat, but because corporate America will not permit it! Why would they take the chance of permitting an honest man the opportunity to spoil their Gravy Train! Corporate America will always support the “best” alternative, who will play their game. That is why I initially suspected Obama. Corporate America was too willing to clear his path. I think it was because they knew Obama would put on a great act and then play ball.
If Barack Obama were truly honest, corporate America has made the biggest mistake of all time! I do not bet against the House!
Would I like him to be the ”Black Messiah”? You need hardly ask that question! Do I believe he is that Messiah because he is Black and a Democrat? Only a complete idiot could fall into that Trap! First and foremost, Obama is a man – a man with objectives and ambitions. The woods are full of these guys and dolls! But how few of them can be trusted!
Obama is not Bush! But is he a Judas Goat? Is Obama a Patsy? In fact, is Obama Lee Harvey Oswald?
If I walk into your antique store and see an item listed at $250, which I know to be overpriced, I counter with an offer of $200. You demur. I then raise my offer to $210. Again you demur. I raise my offer again and again until I reach $250. You then remove the $250 sign and replace it with a $300 sign. Either you sense a desperate buyer and absolute fool or you have no intention of selling at any price! You are the Republican Party and I am the Democratic Party. We are playing a silly game of Fake Negotiating! And that’s all because you don’t want to sell at any price. Republicans don’t want healthcare reform at any price! Some have already admitted as much! 
Sisyphus or Obama?
Tabacco received this e-mail from Dennis Kucinich. It’s too late to attend. But it’s not too late to read. Dennis knows we’re in deep trouble relying on this president or any president for that matter. Remember that corporate America controls our options. That’s why Kucinich’s run was aborted. There was no way Disaster Capitalists were going to permit an ethical idealist such as Kucinich to have the Democratic nomination. Dennis was one of the main reasons they supported Obama. Personality, looks, image and charisma always persuade Americans over actual character, content and their own best interests. If you use the WRONG CRITERIA, you will elect the WRONG CANDIDATE!
Ask yourself how “good looks”, “skin color”, “party label”, speaking eloquence”, “coolness”, “great smile”, “gender”, “physical height”, “charisma” or even “intelligence” could possibly guarantee GOOD CHARACTER! Go ahead, I dare you!

To those, who have not followed this blog consistently for the past 4-years, I reiterate that Dennis Kucinich, not Barack Obama, was my presidential candidate. Type “Dennis Kucinich” in the Search Box on my Main Page if you doubt it.
Kucinich was ignored by the Media and dropped out even before I could vote for him in the New York Primary. I switched to Obama as the “lesser of two evils”. I was correct on both assessments, but by less than even I knew. My next Post will expose Democrats’ Betrayal of “We the People”.

Weiner also pointed out that Insurance Companies take 30% off the top as a “middleman” whereas the government, which operates Medicare, takes 3.5% for its operating costs. That difference is substantial! If we had “Single-Payer”, which is comparable to having “Medicare” for all, we would save roughly 25% from the administrative cost differential, which could then be applied to actual medical expenses and reduce costs to the consumers! That’s why Insurance Companies fight so hard for the STATUS QUO! They don’t want to lose that 30%!

More often than not, the reason we fail to perceive that possibility, which ultimately proves correct, is because we grab onto the Obvious and completely disregard the Obtuse or the Obscure. Certainly Sherlock Holmes would never do that!
Suppose the police had taken Susan Smith at her word? Suppose those publishers had refused to question Clifford Irving? Perhaps that is the reason Jack the Ripper is still unknown to us more than 100 years after the Ripper Murders. Perhaps the police only concerned themselves with the Obvious and were too quick to dismiss the Obscure!
I know police rely on their “profiles”. But that allows the “Exceptions” to escape the Dragnet, doesn’t it! Some of the most famous Serial Killers were questioned and released, sometimes more than once, because they did not fit what cops were looking for. Just take Jeffrey Dahmer, a Caucasian, telling cops his drugged, naked Filipino teenaged victim, was just his gay lover and drunk. The cops laughed and released the youth into Dahmer’s custody. That would never have happened had Dahmer been Black and the boy been White! You know it and I know it!
Racial Profiling sends more Blacks to prison while allowing more Whites to escape incarceration. That’s no way for police to function. But they do!
Little old white ladies can be bombers. Blue-eyed, blond haired youths can be drug addicts. Average looking, mousy, not very impressive presidential candidates can be best for us. And US presidents can be skunks and liars.
We must never dismiss any possibility out of hand as too preposterous to consider. We must in fact allow each possibility to dismiss itself, and whatever remains must be the Truth! – Thanks to Arthur Conan Doyle for that philosophical truth!
Tabacco: I consider myself both a funnel and a filter. I funnel information, not readily available on the Mass Media, which is ignored and/or suppressed.
