GOP’s SEPTEMBER

SURPRISE! What Can

The Bush Regime Do

To Facilitate Another

GOP Win? There Is

One And Only One

Option: DECLARE

WAR ON IRAN!

Q. Why Before The

Election?

A. To Win, Silly! -

RI10

Tabacco: I have a question for you:

What proof or indication do you have, which makes it even appear that John McCain will be any less obstinate and incorrigible than George W. Bush has been?

We’ve all seen GWB act just like a Pit-bull with a bone. John McCain will be just as obstinate and just as incorrigible as George W. Bush has been. America must stop mistaking obstinacy and incorrigibility for strength. Those qualities are weakness, not strength.

Perseverance in the

pursuit of an

obscenity is

no virtue!

Pentagon Admits Planning Potential Military Action

Against Iran

The Washington Post reports the nation’s top military officer has said that the Pentagon is planning for “potential military courses of action” against Iran. Adm. Michael Mullen, chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said military action is one of several options against Iran. Mullen accused Iran of having an “increasingly lethal and malign influence” in Iraq. Last week, Defense Secretary Robert Gates claimed Iran is “hell-bent on acquiring nuclear weapons”. Despite the rhetoric from Washington, a spokesperson from Iran’s foreign ministry said Tehran is not concerned about a US attack.

Mohammad Ali Hosseini: “Mr. Gates and Mr. Cheney made some comments about military choice. According to the problems that the Americans face and their disastrous situation in Iraq and Afghanistan and their interior problems, we think it would be unlikely the Americans would take the decision to get themselves into a new fiasco, the consequences of which they themselves have acknowledged would be painful for the region and the world.”

Meanwhile, on Thursday, a cargo ship contracted by the US Navy fired shots at small Iranian speedboats off the Iranian coast. The cargo ship, the Westward Venture, was transporting US military hardware.

Tabacco: After Bush bombs Iran, the GOP will say what?

“We cannot stop now because we will have to fight them in Tel Aviv, New York and Los Angeles”.

“We cannot leave now or there will be Civil War”.

“We must stay-the-course”.

“We must preempt Iran from obtaining WMDs”.

“My primary goal is America’s Security”.

“Regime Change is required in Iran for democracy to be achieved there”.

“The Iranian people will cheer our destruction of their homeland”.

We’ve heard all these same arguments relating to the Bush invasion of Iraq. So nobody should be surprised at either the timing of the bombing or the subsequent justifications. In basketball, you keep doing the same play over and over until the opponent stops it. The Iraq scheme has only been used once, so Americans should fall for the same thing at least twice.

In the event you do not believe the GOP would have the Chutzpah to time the bombing of Iran so obviously for political gain, please reread each Article on this Blog since August, 2005. There are only about 1190 separate Posts, not including republications. Obviously you haven’t been paying attention!

Bush Accuses Iran of Arming Militias in Iran

Bush also repeated his criticism of Iran over its alleged role in arming Shiite militias in Iraq.

  • President Bush: “They know that the Iraqi government, along with the US government, wants them to stop sending their weapons from Iran into Iraq, all aiming to kill innocent people. That’s what they’re doing. They’re being very—you know, they’re not being constructive at all. But they absolutely know our position, and when we catch them doing it, they’ll be brought to justice, and we are catching them doing it right now.”

US Admits Some “Iranian-Supplied” Arms Aren’t from Iran

While Bush accused Iran of sending arms to Iraq, new questions have been raised over the claims. The Los Angeles Times reports the US military scheduled a press conference last week in Iraq to show journalists alleged Iranian-supplied explosives that were found in the Iraqi city of Karbala. But the military had to cancel the presentation when it realized that none of the weapons were from Iran. A US military spokesperson blamed the confusion on an Iraqi army general in Karbala who erroneously reported the items were of Iranian origin.

Iran to Sue US and UK for Backing Group Behind Mosque Bombing

Meanwhile, Iran is accusing the United States of meddling in Iranian affairs. On Monday, the Iranian judiciary announced it would file international lawsuits against the United States and Britain, accusing them of providing financial support to a group that bombed a mosque in the Iranian city of Shiraz, killing fourteen people. http://www.democracynow.org/2008/5/13/headlines#8

Do you really believe that these presidential candidates spend $million$ of their own money, work 18 hours-a-day for 2 years campaigning, spew forth vindictive lies and half-truths about competitors in their own Party just for the preservation of democracy and the benefit of “We the people”? Come on, America! In your heart and the deep, unused recesses of your brain, you know better! - Tabacco

Sorry For The Error In The Title, "One And Only One Option"!

I forgot there is another Option: STEAL THE ELECTION WITH EVMS (Electronic Voting Machines), Voter Caging & other methods of Stealing Votes. The GOP has already done this twice, in 2000 and 2004.

THE BUSH VERBAL MARCH TOWARD SEPTEMBER WAR IN IRAN CONTINUES:

Bush: Iran “Biggest Threat” to Mideast Peace

Before his departure, Bush singled out Iran, calling it the "biggest threat to peace in the Middle East”.

  • President Bush: “The message to Iran is that, you know, your desire to have a nuclear weapon, coupled with your statements about the destruction of our close ally, has made it abundantly clear to everybody that we have got to work together to stop you from having a nuclear weapon. I mean, to me it’s the single biggest threat to peace in the Middle East is the Iranian regime”.

Meanwhile, President Bush is claiming he has given up golfing as a gesture to the sacrifice of US troops and their families. In an interview with the Politico, Bush said, “I don’t want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf. I feel I owe it to the families… to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal”. Presidential historian Robert Dallek said, “That’s his idea of sacrifice, to give up golf?” http://www.democracynow.org/2008/5/14/headlines

I've been saying the same thing for a while. Bush would love to set the agenda for the next President - especially if that President is a Democrat. Bush's character as President has been one as a recovering alcoholic. John McCain's character is the same as Bush but without the alcohol. They are both hard headed and want things their way no matter what the public thinks. 8 years is enough of that! Good piece!
