Do you want to give this additional presidential power to George W. Bush? I don’t!
He already disregards bills he doesn’t like with those little publicized “Signing Statements” wherein he (Bush) declares that, if he doesn’t like a particular point or points in a particular piece of legislation he has signed already, he can and will disregard it. That is not Democracy; that is Tyranny and a Dictatorship. George W. Bush is worse than George H. W. Bush; he’s worse than King George III of England; he is quickly approaching the same level achieved by Adolf Hitler and Idi Amin. If you think that’s an exaggeration, the differences among those three Heads of State are merely technical, not substantive.
When you enter the Voting Booth this
September (PRIMARIES) & November
(ELECTIONS), think about this: Do you really
want “Lame Duck” George W. Bush to RULE
with a Republican Senate and a Republican
House of Representatives? If you think the
first 5-1/2 years have been awful, just wait for
the last 2 under a Dictatorial president with his
own party in control of both Houses of
Congress!
