Tabacco:
In BC, a Jewish youth named David engaged in battle with the Philistine giant Goliath with the aid of a “slingshot” and won.
In 1892 James J. Corbett defeated Heavyweight Champ John L. Sullivan with hit & run tactics, as did Sugar Ray Leonard against Roberto Duran in 1980.
1775-1783 Colonialists defeated King George III’s British troops in the Revolutionary War, not with military formations but with guile and “subversive, terrorist” deceit.
When outmanned, outgunned & overpowered, the Inferior Force is foolish, if not suicidal, to fight Marquis of Queensbury, toe-to-toe and lose under the Superior Forces’ Rules of Combat. Sugar Ray learned that lesson in Leonard-Duran I.
When we invaded the sovereign nation of Iraq for our own clandestine self-interests and caused the deaths of perhaps 2 million innocent Muslims, why would we expect Iraq to fight us toe-to-toe or mano a mano! Have we forgotten even recent history circa 1980!
The Major’s surname is “Hasan”. I do not know the facts in the matter yet, but that fact strikes me first! CNN and CBS go on about redeployments and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), but I note the Major’s surname “Hasan”.
When Muhammad Ali refused to step forward, he noted that colored peoples in Asia had done nothing to him. He also noted Vietnamese had not discriminated against him, placed his forefathers into forced-Slavery or Segregation. He had no “Argument” with Asians. He thought, but did not say, “I do have Arguments with Caucasians in my own country!” Ali declined to become Cassius Clay again! And Ali had no historical or ethnic ties with Vietnamese – Major Hasan obviously does have ethnic ties. Note the absence of any reference to Maj. Hasan’s ethnicity! In view of recent tirades involving the phrase “Islamo-Fascist”, don’t you find that STRANGE! Even the Extremists on the Right are silent or at least being ignored by the MSM! These are the important points the Media fails to mention – WHY!
When these soldiers in Texas operate those drone aircraft in the Middle East that bomb innocent Muslims (Collateral Damages) as well as a few Enemy Combatants, these soldiers have no fear of enemy drones retaliating against them in Texas. At night these soldiers go home and sleep in their own beds, safe and secure - that is until today, November 5, 2009. Now even they must fear retaliation.
No doubt eventually we will hear terms like “Islamo-Fascist”, “Coward”, “Terrorist”, “Benedict Arnold”, “PTSD”, etc. But in other parts of the world we would hear words such as “Martyr”, “Hero”, “Patriot” and “Virgins”.
If you are a Hatfield, the McCoys are the Terrorists. If you are King George III of England, American colonists are the Terrorists. And if members of your Iraqi family have been murdered in Fallujah, the Americans – not just al Qaeda - are the Terrorists. Perspective is everything!
If you expect the country, which declined to show returning military coffins on TV, the country which invaded Iraq 6 years ago for specious reasons and is still there, the country that deploys EVMs to deny Blacks their right to vote, the country that allowed Black men with syphilis to die, untreated and unknowing, for medical investigation, the country that left Hiroshima and Nagasaki in pristine condition so the Enola Gay could drop its payload on a clean slate - if you expect that country to tell the unvarnished Truth about Major Hasan’s motives, undiluted with mental illness pejoratives for self-serving reasons, you have another think coming.
Hasan may have committed the acts, but the US now edits the story and controls the historical emphases!
You will not get many facts here and now - this is not a fact-driven report. Generally, I wait until the smoke clears, but in this story I do not trust the government’s motives or its veracity!
You can rest assured the US military and White House are already writing the “politically correct” version of the story for the Mainstream press. If Hasan’s act was spontaneous, part of a small conspiracy or an arm of the Taliban, the official story will tell us only what the government wants us to know. Bush or Obama - it matters not!
The Comments above were written November 5th before we found out Major Hasan was still alive!
First the Military announced Maj. Hasan was dead; today we find out he’s alive.
Yesterday they announced Maj. Hasan did not want to redeploy back to Iraq. If they know that, they must know why he did not wish to redeploy, but no reason has been given to the Press or Public. The Military must tread gently now with “Cover Stories” and “Rationale” because Maj. Hasan is alive and undoubtedly will be interviewed by the Press at some point.
Remember Lee Harvey Oswald! So long as Oswald lived, the government had a major problem: Oswald could refute any government “Cover Story”. Once Oswald was allowed to be murdered, that refuting witness - that problem ceased to exist! The government and Warren Commission could and did say ANYTHING: Magic Bullet indeed!
A word to the Wise is SUFFICIENT!

Even though it’s the same American, stuff-left-out Cover-Cover Story, I thought this UK “Re-Cover” Republication in itself would be educational! See how the Foxes STICK TOGETHER most of the time!
Continued UK Re-Cover Story
The announcement came hours after it was reported that Maj Hasan had been shot dead by the authorities after he allegedly walked into a training centre and opened fire on fellow soldiers who were having last minute medical check-ups before being deployed to Afghanistan.
Maj Hasan was in custody and was in a stable condition, Lt. Gen. Bob Cone said. The death toll from the shooting remains at 12.
Lt Gen Cone offered little explanation to reporters at a news conference as to why the suspect was believed dead, saying only there was confusion at the hospital.
The massacre took place at the sprawling Fort Hood base, the largest American military installation in the world. It is not clear if the attack was an act of political terrorism.
Sources said Maj Hasan had been due to be deployed to Iraq shortly and was an army psychiatrist. He is believed to have been in his late 30s and from Virginia.
It was reported that he did not want to go to Iraq.
Tabacco: And that’s it?!
Ten of the victims were soldiers and one was a civilian police officer. Two other injured soldiers were in a “very serious” condition in hospital.
Gunfire later erupted around the base as two alleged accomplices, also US soldiers, were captured and police said there may have been more than one gunman.
One of them had barricaded himself in a traumatic brain injury unit where he was surrounded by SWAT teams. Four police officers were wounded before he was arrested.
Tabacco: Perhaps these “so-called” Accomplices were just trying to save their own lives. If they don’t have Arabic surnames, the government will have no case! If they do have Arabic surnames, shame on them! Tabacco would have sought cover (there’s that word again) too – wouldn’t you!
More than 500 soldiers were deployed to lock down Fort Hood as helicopters hovered overhead.
Base commander Lieutenant General Bob Cone said: “It has been a terrible tragedy, it's stunning. We have a terrible, tragic situation here. Soldiers, family members and the civilians that work here are absolutely devastated.
The army has confirmed there was just one shooter.
The attack took place in the Soldier Readiness Centre, a former sports dome, where soldiers go for final checks before being sent overseas.
As well as soldiers about to be deployed, those returning and undergoing medical screening would have been there.
It happened shortly before a graduation ceremony for soldiers was due to start at the base.
President Barack Obama, speaking in Washington, said it was a “horrific outburst of violence.”
Tabacco: Even the punctuation – period inside the quotation marks when there is not even a complete sentence – is American, not British!
He said: “These are men and women who have made the selfless and courageous decision to risk, and at times, give their lives to protect us.
“It’s difficult enough when we lose these brave men and women overseas. It is horrifying when we lose them on American soil.”
Fort Hood is one of the US’s premier installations for training heavy forces and tens of thousands of soldiers go through every year, many heading to Afghanistan.
It covers an area of 340 square miles near Killeen, some 50 miles from Waco, Texas.
There are up to 65,000 people, including families, on the site at any one time.
Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison said: “Our dedicated military personnel have sacrificed so much in service to our country and it sickens me that the men and women of Fort Hood have been subjected to this senseless, random violence.”
Tabacco: More Cover! It should be obvious, even to a Texas Republican, that this attack was NOT random! Whether it was senseless or not remains to be seen. But I would not rely on the MSM for the answer to that question! However Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison did get one word correctly – it was definitely “violence”.
Local congressman John Carter said: “I had a man on the scene, who is the former chaplan at Fort Hood. He was waiting to go to a graduation ceremony when a soldier came running up to him saying somebody was shooting. He heard small arms and some rifle fire.”
Fort Hood has also been working to rehabilitate many soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome, Mr Carter said.
George Stratton said his son, George Stratton III, was five feet away from the shooter and suffered a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.
He said: “I talked to him right before surgery. He said, 'Dad, I’m getting ready to go into surgery. I love you.”
Base commanders and the Pentagon said they had no early indication of a motive for the shootings.
Tabacco: And the March Hare may be involved in a conspiracy! Had Major Hasan done what other American soldiers have done - go AWOL or commit Suicide - none of this would be reported in the MSM! Hell, rape of female American soldiers or murder of military officers by our own soldiers ("Fragging") never reaches the Public's eye or ear! But even the Military couldn't keep Fort Hood under wraps!
The base has seen other violence in recent years. In September last year a 21-year-old 1st Cavalry Division soldier shot his lieutenant to death and then killed himself.
Tabacco: FRAGGING! One can only wonder if there were reasons or a note left unreported in that instance also! Once they cry WOLF, you cannot trust anything they say – can you!
Five American soldiers died in Baghdad earlier this year in a shooting by one of their comrades at a combat stress clinic. It had been set up by the Pentagon following criticism that the US military had not done enough to treat soldiers who had undergone repeated tours of duty.
But wait! The Brits do have more to say – why don’t the Americans!
(Tabacco almost missed this story! When doing any kind of research, it helps if you have some idea of what you are looking for!)
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/6511591/Fort-Hood-shooting-Nidal-Malik-Hasan-said-Muslims-should-rise-up.html

Sounds like something Malcolm X would have said re “Negroes” – of course, that would have been selectively reported too!
Storyline continued:
Col Terry Lee, a retired officer who worked with him at the military base in Texas, alleged Maj Hasan had angry confrontations with other officers over his views.
Maj Hasan was reportedly fighting orders to be deployed to Iraq at the end of the month, claiming that he was the victim of harassment and insults because of his Arab background and his faith.
The major is a psychiatrist who had been treating soldiers returning from Iraq for post-traumatic stress and alcohol and drug abuse problems.
"He was making outlandish comments condemning our foreign policy and claimed Muslims had the right to rise up and attack Americans," Col Lee told Fox News.
"He said Muslims should stand up and fight the aggressor and that we should not be in the war in the first place." He said that Maj Hasan said he was "happy" when a US soldier was killed in an attack on a military recruitment centre in Arkansas in June. An American convert to Islam was accused of the shootings.
Col Lee alleged that other officers had told him that Maj Hasan had said "maybe people should strap bombs on themselves and go to Time Square" in New York.
He claimed he was aware that the major had been subject to "name calling" during heated arguments with other officers.
Federal law enforcement officials have said Maj Hasan had come to their attention at least six months ago because of Internet postings that discussed suicide bombings and other threats.
The officials said the postings appeared to have been made by Maj Hasan but they were still trying to confirm that he was the author.
Maj Hasan's cousin Nader Husan said he was happy working for the military but did dread deployment to Iraq.
Mr Hasan said his cousin was a US-born Muslim who had joined the military after high school. He had served as a psychiatrist at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC, which treats many badly wounded troops.
"He was a psychiatrist at Walter Reed dealing with the people coming back and ... trying to help them with their trauma," he said.
He said his cousin had been transferred to Fort Hood in April months ago and was very reluctant to be deployed to Iraq. "We've known over the last five years that was probably his worst nightmare," he said.
Tabacco: I instinctively knew this was probably the case. I started this Post yesterday, November 5th. I found this Article today, November 6, 2009, around 12:30pm.
Let’s see if and when American Media sources say anything like what most of us already suspected.
If you are unbiased or Black, did you root for Southern Segregated Blacks or Southern Segregationists! Then apply that answer to Muhammad Ali & Major Nidal Malik Hasan!
Tabacco: I consider myself both a funnel and a filter. I funnel information, not readily available on the Mass Media, which is ignored and/or suppressed. I filter out the irrelevancies and trivialities to save both the time and effort of my Readers and bring consternation to the enemies of Truth & Fairness! When you read Tabacco, if you don’t learn something NEW, I’ve wasted your time.

Yes, the election of Barack Obama - a Black man - does make Black Americans
feel better and somewhat more American. Even Tabacco is not immune to those
feelings!
If American Jews support Israel without qualification - and they do -
nobody gets TV time to oppose Israel's actions or Israeli soldiers
murdering 11 unarmed, white flag-waving Muslim women and children in Gaza.
