There is an old song “Standing On The Corner Watching All The Girls Go By”, which includes the line ‘You can’t go to jail for what you’re thinking or for that faraway look in your eye’. Well, that doesn’t apply anymore. Allow me to link 4 separate recent events to make my point.
Review of “Minority Report”, the film

Steven Spielberg is at his directorial best with this action adventure. Tom Cruise is at his acting best as a futuristic cop on the run. I was pleased to see one of the best directors team up with one of the best actors to make a brilliant movie.
Tom Cruise plays John Anderton, the chief of the Pre-Crime unit of the Washington D.C. police department. This unit stops murders before they happen, with the help of the "Pre-Cogs". The "Pre-Cogs" are three psychics who see the murders before they happen, and Cruise is the one who puts their visions together to predict the location, the killer, and the victim of the future crime. So far, the "Pre-Cog" division has been successful, with its six-year span going on with no murder ever happening. Things get complicated for the future of Pre-Crime when Detective Danny Witwer, played by Colin Farrell, is sent to inspect the operation. Anderton is suspicious of him, because he starts to see cracks in the system. When Anderton believes that the cracks are minor; he believes wrong.
Anderton sees another murder happening in the Pre-Cogs' visions and is shocked to see that he is the man committing the murder. Now that he is on the run from his own men, which of course is under the command of Witwer, Anderton must unravel the mystery of why he has to murder a man whom he hasn't even met yet. As time runs out, Anderton finds clues that there is a conspiracy behind it. Can he figure them out in time, or will Pre-Crime see its first murder in six years?
"Minority Report" is a movie with a fantastic storyline, one of the best I've ever heard of. The actors are great, the directing is great, of course, it's Spielberg. Even the effects are great; they are done with ILM. Roger Ebert says that this movie "reminds us why we go to the movies in the first place," and I agree with him.

Feds inspect debris after news helicopter crash

PHOENIX — Investigators picked through the charred wreckage of two news helicopters that collided and plummeted to the ground while covering a police chase, the debris scattered about 100 yards in all directions.
Meanwhile, the man suspected of starting the chase was booked into jail on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of theft and one count of resisting arrest.
Christopher Jermaine Jones, 23, also may be held responsible for the helicopter crash, police said.
The remains of Channel 15's
helicopter sit in Phoenix on Saturday.
Formal charges are expected to come later. At an initial court appearance, bail was set at $1 million.

How can a man on the ground, even if his name were Adolf Hitler, be responsible for a helicopter air-crash overhead, caused by incompetence, carelessness and the lust to get the film story at any cost! During World War II maybe – but in 2007? For the police to make such a statement and for the press to publish it is bad enough; the real problem lies in the fact that the legal system is going to look for a way to achieve it. Seattle-Area Pedophile Has 'How-to' Web Site for Men Seeking Little Girl Activities

A Web site created by a pedophile is a virtual "how-to" manual, complete with the best places in western Washington State to see little girls, and tips on how to avoid getting caught by the police.
The site, titled "Seattle-Tacoma-Everett Girl Love", has been around for a few years. The police know all about it, yet they say they can't shut it down because the site is legal.
"As disturbing and offensive as we find this, there's no evidence of a crime, or even suspicion of illegal activity", said Rebecca Hover of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Department.
The man who runs it, 45-year-old Jack McClellan, has never been convicted of a sex crime, which means he can attend any family-friendly events where children are present, and take all the pictures he wants for his Web site. He also lives close to a school bus stop.
McClellan says his purpose is to promote association, friendship and legal, consensual hugging and cuddling between men and pre-pubescent girls. He admitted to FOX News that his "age of attraction" is between 3 and 11 years old.
"I guess the main thing is I just think they're cute, a lot cuter than women. I admit there is kind of an erotic arousal there", McClellan said.
"It makes me happy simply. Like I said, I think girls are cute, beautiful, just children in general make me happy ... being around lots of them. ... I'm doing what anyone else would do with a hobby. If someone's into birds they're taking pictures of birds. I'm convinced that none of these images are illegal."
McClellan wants to bring pedophiles out of the closet and give them a way to get some relief, by going out and being around little girls. He suggests a number of places, such as plays at elementary schools, parks, swimming pools and libraries.
"I really think a lot of this pedophilia hysteria is overblown. I think there are a lot of people like me. They have the attraction but they're not going to do anything physical because of the laws. It just makes me happy to attend these events."
McClellan said that for pedophiles, just being around children is almost like a "legal high" that makes them happy.
But "I can understand the fear", he added. "I hope that what I'm doing is setting myself up as an example that it is possible to have these attractions and not be out of control".
But he said while it's OK to look, it's not OK to touch, given the many state laws in place to protect children against that.
"I know it sounds kind of crazy, but there's kind of a code of ethics that these pedophiles have developed and what it is ... the contact has to be completely consensual, no coercion, if you're going to do it", McClellan said.
Parents are understandably outraged. FOX News spoke to the mother of an 8-year-old girl whose picture appeared on the Web site. The picture was taken at a dance recital.
"I needed to get those pictures off of there. I didn't want the pedophile community having any visibility to my daughter or her friends or any of the children that were on that site", said parent Ann Cialoa. "Whether it's a physical threat, a perceived threat, whatever threat it is. It's our jobs as parents to protect our kids from threats, and he is a threat, and people like him are a threat".
Some legal experts have said the best course of action for parents who see their kids' pictures on sites like these, is to get a temporary restraining order against McClellan and demand that his Web site be taken down.
"You have one in your face and you can't do anything about it because there's not a law to protect them from that", Cialoa said. "It's scary, and the fact that we're going to wait around for him to violate before we do something".
Neighbors of McClellan's say there's a man, who rides his bike around town at night and peeps into others' windows. They believe that may be McClellan.
"You'll notice that every single person in this neighborhood has very large attack dogs", said neighbor Melissa Henry.
The Web site was taken down by the Internet service provider after FOX News called the company about it this week. The company is investigating whether any material on the site is illegal.
At least one area school has sent McClellan a letter saying if he comes onto school property or attends their functions, they will consider it trespassing and will have him arrested.
Police and prosecutors are watching him closely to see if he crosses the line. A handful of state legislators are looking at drafting a new law to deal with such Web sites. But until they do, McClellan is free to continue pushing pedophilia.

There are many Jacks that walk with us (a neighbor, friend or co-worker) and this Jack has made many aware that we should be careful about what people interact with our children. In an awe-inspiring and strange way Jack McClellan is a blessing, an oxymoron, a person that has reached millions by claiming his irrational and sickly sexual preference. A preference that I find appalling and revolting. Because of Jack I am here telling you to be careful and to look out for the safety of your children.
I was a victim of child abuse at the age of six (6 years old) and that's why I am on a mission to make a difference. In my opinion, adults that abuse children (sexually or mentally) are the lowest anatomy of life and deserve nothing but hell. Even though Jack has not (according to law enforcement) abused, I still find his actions (his How 2 pedophile web site) morally repugnant.

The case of John Mark Karr has shed light on subjects that aren't normally brought up on the evening news or around the dinner table. Child Sexual Abuse, false confessions and gender identity disorder. Mr. Karr had confessed to being the killer of 6 year old Jon Benet Ramsey in December, 1996. Later investigation would reveal that he was obsessed with not only the Ramsey case but another famous child murder case Polly Klass, obsessed enough by that case to move his wife and young children across the country to be closer to the location of the crime. Details of Mr. Karr's life in Thailand for also come to light, according to reports, Mr. Karr had moved to Thailand to obtain a sex change operation.
No one will get me to dispute that John Mark Karr is a piece of trash. A piece of trash that has several psychological disorders, it is my profession opinion? that Mr. Karr most likely has molested young girls, with the depth of his fantasy, he may have even found himself close to the point to where his fantasy of being in a loving sexual relationship with a young girl became reality(meaning he killed one so she could never leave him). Having said that, he just isn't Jon Benet's killer. Yes bad man, yes a man that should spend the rest of his life in prison, yes possibly a child molester and killer, just not HER killer.
Tabacco: “profession opinion”? The term is “professional opinion”. If this write has credentials, we know for certain they aren’t in ‘English’. As I often do, I began editing out his grammatical errors. But I reconsidered and let them remain because he, not Democracy Now! is responsible for those errors.
My considered opinion is that he has no medical, psychiatric or even college credentials. Medical or Psychiatric professionals always give their credentials whenever they write serious papers. This guy did not. He intones that John Mark Karr “should spend the rest of his life in prison”. No qualified medical professional would ever make such a statement without even interviewing the patient. This guy, Tony L, is a FAKE! He isn’t even qualified to determine what’s going on inside his own head, let alone John Mark Karr’s head.
This piece will focus on John Mark Karr's confession, what would have driven him to make such claims and what may be going on in his head (as much as anyone can deduce what's going on inside someone's head).
The Confession:
Mr. Karr confessed to authorities in Bangkok Thailand that he was the killer of JonBenet Ramsey. He said that he loved her, that she was so beautiful, that her death was an accident, that he had drugged her and then had sex with her. Anyone that knew anything about the JonBenet case knew right off the bat that something was rotten in the state of Denmark(or Denver as the case may be). JonBenet's death was far from an accident. Her cause of death was a massive blow to the head, with strangulation, the killer used a piece of string and a broken paint brush as a garrote. Toxicology examination didn't reveal any evidence of drugs in the little girls system. And while autopsy did reveal the possibility that little JonBenet had been the victim of some sort of sexual abuse, nothing would indicate that she had been the victim of any recent vaginal intercourse.
Tabacco: There is little doubt that our enigmatic scribe has a PhD in “Plagiarism”. This was copied from another source without giving credit to that author – that is known as plagiarism! Our Plagiarist does not even claim to have interviewed Karr! Thank God for that!
He claimed to have been in contact with Patsy Ramsey(JonBenet's Mother). Again anyone familiar with the case would know that a cloud of suspicion surrounds the Ramsey family to this day regarding the family's involvement in the little girls death. He claimed that he knew that Patsy had read his letter's. Now, I do believe that he wrote Patsy letters, I doubt that those letter's were ever sent. If someone had claimed to be the little girls killer John and Patsy would be the first one's to be calling for a news conference of CNN, MSNBC, Fox News showing the letter's to everyone that would listen, watch ect saying "see, see what we've been saying all along is true, we didn't kill our daughter a deranged mad man broke into our house and killed her just like we've been saying all along." but that didn't happen. No mention of the letter's or a possible suspect in the 10 year old case was ever brought up by the Ramsey family or anyone connected with the case and let's be honest this case had more leaks than the White House Press Office.
No one seemed to be asking the hard questions such as...John how did you get into the house without leaving any evidence? How did you know exactly where a pen and paper were kept? How were you able to write a three page ransom note that matched Patsy Ramsey's handwriting? How were you able to avoid being looked at as a suspect for 10 years, even though you had a history of unhealthy sexual interest in young girls?
The question becomes why did he confess to a crime that we now all know he could not have possibly committed?
Mr. Karr was engaged in an active fantasy life. He had fantasies about having sexual relations with his mother, about having sexual relations with little girls, he moved his family to California to be closer to the location of the kidnap/murder of Polly Klass, his fantasy's had become so overpowering that he honestly believed that he killed JonBenet. Belief can be a very powerful thing, an all consuming belief can lead some men to strap bombs to themselves and blow up buses and fly planes into sky scrapers because they believe that those actions will make them martyrs in the eyes of Allah and they will receive great rewards in heaven(or 70 virgins). Just because you believe something strongly enough doesn't make it so. In John Mark Karr's mind he'll always be JonBenet's killer, that doesn't make it so. DNA has proven that he is not the girls killer. Mr. Karr has come to a point in his life were he's realized that he's a failure, he isn't a professional success, his wife divorced him. What does he have left? Just as many serial killers will confess when finally arrested, John Mark Karr confessed to prove to everyone that he was finally successful at something. He was able to get JonBenet to love him forever because he killed her so he wouldn't have to face her eventual rejection. He was successful at evading police for a decade. Just because those things actually happened in his mind also don't make them so.
John Mark Karr's History:
As I have previously stated John Mark Karr isn't a nice guy. He's a pedophile. Mr. Karr has a history that demonstrated his proclivity toward young girls, and the danger that he will continue to pose to children.
He was a substitute teacher, in Alabama but was let go because he was "to affectionate with children". His ex wife filed for a protective order to keep Mr. Karr away from the couples children because he was charged with five counts of misdemeanor possession of child pornography. Mr. Karr made statements to friends that he was "sexually like a wolf" and that "he preferred girls to young women." Mr. Karr also ran into some trouble while teaching in Honduras, while living with a family in that country he made sexually inappropriate statements to his land lords daughters then aged 16 and 20. Mr. Karr then moved to Thailand, a country known for it's child sex trade.
Pedophiles:
Mr. Karr is what is knows an a preferential pedophile according to the Burgess, Groth, and Holmstrom model. He prefers sexual relations with young girls as opposed to adult women. Within the PREFERENTIAL type, there are two (2) subtypes:
(4) the SEDUCTIVE pedophile. This subtype, also known as the fixated type, will seduce or court their victims, often buying them gifts, flowers, toys, or loaning them money. As this person slowly becomes more intimate with the child, they begin to introduce sexual innuendo and eventually sexual pornography and paraphernalia. They operate on a referral network, and are very likely to surf the Internet looking for stimulation and potential victims, although, they almost always seem to have a "stable" of victims in various stages of seduction. They go wherever a good pool of potential victims can be found.
(5) the SADISTIC pedophile. This subtype, also called a mysoped, stalks, mutilates, and in some cases, kills and cannibalizes their victim. They usually will travel great geographic distances to stalk just the right victim, and have an elaborate, blitz attack or abduction ploy worked out to sidetrack the parents and authorities. This individual leads a rather transient existence, but is likely to have a fairly good-paying, white-collar job and a dependable car.Child Abuse Unit
Mr. Karr would fall into the subgroup of a seductive pedophile because as yet, we do not know that he has killed or harmed the children that he was attempting to have relationships. As yet, no real evidence exists to point toward the fact that Mr. Karr ever engaged in sexual intercourse or any sort of sexual behavior with children. He did however have fantasies about having sexual relations with children and with all offenders, fantasy will eventually spill over into reality and he will begin to offend.
Analysis of John Mark Karr:
John Mark Karr lives in a fantasy world, one in which he is lord and master over children. He picked a profession where he was god in the eyes of a child. He taught grade school. Children of that age look up to teacher, teacher can do nothing wrong. Even when a teacher is proven wrong, a child will refuse to believe that teacher could possibly be wrong.
His fantasy was one of having long lasting relationships with young girls, because young girls are innocent and pure. His problem was twofold:
1) He wasn't able to find young children that would be open to being the love of his life and
2) once they engaged in sexual relations, they were no longer innocent and pure, they were little sluts just like grown up women.
Because of those problems, he began to fantasize about murdered girls, if the girls was dead, she couldn't be a slut, if he had sexual relations with a girls that wasn't alive anymore, she will stay pure forever.
As previously noted Mr. Karr suffers from several personality disorders. As much as I hope for the best in people, an individual such as Mr. Karr will never get any better, no matter how much therapy he receives, no matter how many people try to demonstrate to him the error in his ways, Mr. Karr will always be a sexual offender.
The following information is quoted from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Fourth Edition (DMS IV):
Paraphilias: The essential features of a paraphilias are recurrent intense sexually arousing fantasies, sexual urges, or behaviors generally involving 1) nonhuman objects 2) the suffering or humiliation of oneself or one's partner or 3) children or other nonconsenting persons, that occur over a period of at least 6 months (criterion A).(DSM IV 523) The paraphiliac focus of pedophilia involves sexual activity with prepubescent child(generally age 13 years or younger). The individual with pedophilia must be age 16 years or older and at least 5 years older than the child.(DSM IV 527)
Conclusion:
John Mark Karr is currently facing charges in California regarding child pornography, he may also be facing federal charges of being a "sexual tourist". Only time will tell the outcome of this case. Please check back for updates.

Have we not convicted and, in too many cases, executed innocent suspects because we “Rushed to Judgment”!

If anyone is going to play at “Minority Report”, let it be the psychiatrists, not those seeking revenge, not those too fearful to think rationally, not those seeking publicity, not those with false credentials, not the police and certainly not the legislators. Even Tabacco would only verbally indict those, who have already demonstrated a criminal history, not a criminal propensity, fantasy or inclination. The Minority Report should remain a movie. It should not ever become the Law of the Land! If we do that, we have destroyed our Bill of Rights and we truly are INSANE!
If we don’t stop these LYNCH MOBS in their track Today, Tomorrow they may knock on your door to Arrest you for your thoughts and fantasies, which they deem to be politically incorrect. Once you set a precedent for pedophiles or alleged-pedophiles, that same precedent can be used to arrest and convict Evangelists, Methodists, Atheists, Blacks, Germans, Japanese, actors, bikers, those who wear dreadlocks, those who wear do rags, those who wear yarmulkes, those who wear earrings, those who wear tattoos, those who do not sport a certain symbol or agree with a certain philosophy, or those with red hair and freckles. This is very dangerous stuff these Lynch Mobs are messing with. Today’s Lyncher could be tomorrow’s Lynched!
