RELATIVE IMPORTANCE (RI RATING) -

Tabacco Begins A New Rating System

For Truly Urgent Article Reading

I published a really Important Article,
"
Professor McCoy Exposes C I A Psychological Torture Interrogation & Murder from Cold War To War On Terror"

http://tabacco.blog-city.com/professor_mccoy_exposes_c_i_a_psychological_torture_interrog.htm
February 18th
19 Hits in 2 days Ain't Bad..

But
"
Oven Bar-B-Que Chicken Wings – Outdoor Cooking Even In February With Snow On The Ground"
http://tabacco.blog-city.com/oven_barbque_chicken_wings__outdoor_cooking_even_in_february.htm
February 19th
has 13 Hits in 1 day.  The relative importance of these 2 Articles must be addressed NOW!

Henceforth, I shall follow truly URGENT ARTICLES with a Numerical Code:

RI8      New Information Being Withheld From Public

RI9      Immediate Attention Required

RI10    Extremely Urgent New Information

Tabacco hates to categorize Articles the way the Bush administration does the Terrorism Alert situation.  The difference is that Bush does it to manipulate the public.  Tabacco will do it to distinguish truly relevant and important Articles from those, which may be no more than interesting, satirical or culinary.

Only Articles in the RI8, RI9, RI10 Categories will be so designated.  This will at least advise my Readers which Articles I deem to be most serious and necessary reading.

I have no objections to Readers using my culinary experiences; that's why I publish them.  I published a "human-interest" Article about a boy with no arms, now deceased, who played basketball with his feet.  This Article elicited great emotion from me.  But it was not earth-shatteringly important to the well-being of the citizens.  That Article would not get an RI Rating.

I do attempt to make all Articles, I publish, seductive enough to get my Readers to click on the "read more >>" icon.  I may have succeeded too well.  Each morning I check the overall stats for all Articles.  Some of the lesser Articles have far out-stripped more momentous ones.  In introducing this new RI Rating, I am attempting to let my Readers know which Articles I deem most significant.

Those Readers, who are only interested in human-interest stories or recipes, will naturally ignore the RI Ratings.  It is those of you, who are politically motivated and in search of  "momentous pursuit", to whom I direct this Rating system.

I hope this clarifies the RI RATING.

It amazes me how liberals purport to know what is important for the 'well being' of 'the citizens'. One man's matter of import is another's claptrap, as it were.

April:

I think you meant to address this Comment to the White House. I just express my opinion of my own Articles. Your President pushes buttons that kill people.

Conservatives want to control women's bodies, homosexuals' bodies, children's military future and when they die, who gets to have money and who doesn't, the world's oil supply, every country's government and who may or may not lead those countries, who may or may not have their finger on the nuclear button - all I want to control is the people's access to the truth. The next time you Comment here, make sure you have your facts straight. There is nothing more reprehensible than a know-nothing, duplicitous, selfish, moronic, propagandizing Conservative critic. If you don't like what you read here, you know where you can go!

Have a nice day,

Tabacco

I don't know the President's website, telephone numbers or email, but I'm sure you can look them up.

No, actually, you want to control people's thought processes. You want them to accept YOUR truth. And everyone knows you can reach the prez by emailing him at whitehouse.gov. Come on, now.

April:

Merriam-Webster's 11th Collegiate Dictionary:

control: to exercise restraining or directing influence over : REGULATE b : to have power over : RULE

persuade: : to move by argument, entreaty, or expostulation to a belief, position, or course of action

You see, April, there is a difference. Next time you write, please check your dictionary first.

Actually I didn't know the prez' email. Thanks for the info, but I will pass on this prez!
