Tabacco: While Sophistic Reverse Engineering is not only useless but also counterproductive, my own Political Reverse Engineering is a very useful analytical tool. It presumes that most political acts have clandestine and unspeakable motives. Find those motives soon enough, and you are able to predict what initiatives will be sought and reduce the Excuses given for those initiatives to an absurdity.
My Technique is simple. First you look at what a Politician or group of Politicians is doing or saying and anticipate the possible end results of their acts or words. Always disregard their “justifications” when those justifications are totally out of character with their general persona. Morality is always a cover, never the reason when dealing with Politicos, whose primary concern is Capitalist Profit! They justify that, which they cannot say truthfully. Once you know the motive, you have uncovered the plot!
Pharmaceutical Companies invent a drug, then search for a medical condition for drug’s usage!
CELGENE CORPORATION’S Thalidomide, for example, was marketed in 1957 for pregnant women, but caused birth defects and is referred to as "the biggest medical tragedy of modern times". The R&D (Research & Development) costs had to be recouped, so Thalidomide was put on the shelf until less controversial subjects for its use could be found. Recently it has been used for Leprosy, Multiple Myeloma, Erythema Nodosum, etc. This is a prime example of what Tabacco calls Sophistic Reverse Engineering (SRE).
The Disease NAME is often a clue to Drug Reverse Engineering. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is NOT a medical condition, but a Sophist’s Rhetorical Semantics. And if there is such a condition with specific causes, the AMA hasn't the foggiest idea of what those causes are or how to treat or prevent them! Sophistic Reverse Engineering often relies on "DOUBLE-TALK" to cover its lack of knowledge, logic or coherence!
The same is true of Acid Reflux Disease. That is not a “Disease”, but a natural bodily response to BAD DIETARY HABITS! Stop the bad habits, and you don’t get the acid reflux! Taking medicines is not a PANACEA for everything.
Modern Hypochondriacs take a pill when they can’t sleep, a pill when they are tired, a pill when they are sad, a pill when they are happy, a pill to activate the brain, a pill to slow it down, an upper or downer – depending on current situation, a pill to increase penis size, a pill to decrease size of the vagina, Whites use Coppertone to get darker and Blacks use Artra to get lighter.
Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) exists, but the name tells you nothing about cause or effect. That is mainly due to the fact that when they named it, they didn’t know the cause and were only superficially aware of the effects.
Any medical condition referred to as a “Syndrome” is an attempt by smart medical people to appear knowledgeable when they are ignorant, and they know it!
John F. Kennedy, after the Bay Of Pigs fiasco, pushed space exploration as the antidote to his dropping credibility. And you thought it was just ethics and / or beating the Russians!
G W Bush, after 9/11/2001 Terrorist Attack & his Recession of 2001, wanted a Cash Cow and to revive his flagging reputation, so he pursued War In Iraq! The 2003 Excuses were Saddam had WMDs and assisted Osama bin Laden in 9/11/2001 attacks. Both were lies and excuses. The excuse of sending Democracy to Iraq was deployed many years later and was never mentioned in 2003 when they were justifying the War! If anyone knew what sort of WMDs Hussein had, it was George W. Bush because his father, George H. W. Bush, as CIA head saw those American invoices! Another example of putting the cart before the horse or acting with spurious excuses to achieve a goal of choice rather than solve a relevant problem.

HOW SADDAM HAPPENED
Mr. BYRD. Mr. President, yesterday, at a hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee, I asked a question of the Secretary of Defense. I referred to a Newsweek article that will appear in the September 23, 2002, edition. That article reads as follows. It is not overly lengthy. I shall read it. Beginning on page 35 of Newsweek, here is what the article says:
America helped make a monster. What to do with him--and what happens after he is gone--has haunted us for a quarter century.
The article is written by Christopher Dickey and Evan Thomas. It reads as follows:
The last time Donald Rumsfeld saw Saddam Hussein, he gave him a cordial handshake. The date was almost 20 years ago,
Dec. 20, 1983; an official Iraqi television crew recorded the historic moment.

but I don’t recommend it because they leave out or gloss over too many relevant facts. The War raised Bush’s approval ratings, which were in the toilet. But why those ratings fell is not mentioned. They make it appear to be a normal occurrence, which it is NOT!
Saddam Hussein was operating under the false conclusion he had US approval to take Kuwait. Bush deliberately misled Saddam so he (Bush) could march into Kuwait, remove Saddam and reverse his own flagging poll numbers in America. He acted too soon! There was still time for those numbers to fall before the election once Americans realized the politics involved.
And no mention is made about that president’s own prior knowledge of Saddam’s WMDs or Bush’s Saddam Swindle!

Halliburton, Blackwater/XE and other military contractors benefited and “Capitalized” on both Iraq Wars, particularly the son’s 2nd one.
Exxon & Enron Capitalized on the Iraq War (2003 - present). The Energy Giants wrote our energy policy with Bush administration blessings and cover. “Any war is a good war” to War Profiteers or Disaster Capitalists, but a war in an oil-producing country, such as Iraq, has additional incentives and spoils! Sophistic Reverse Engineering? You bet it was and is!
Churches rebate GOP for Office of Faith-based Initiatives. Which political party do you think benefited most in 2008 from religious financial contributions, political activism by church members and biased propaganda from those same sources? Don’t forget to include “Faith-Based Initiatives” as a factor in your conclusion! That’s our tax dollars ending up in GOP COFFERS!
FDR operated as Tabacco does. He identified a problem, then acted to solve it.
But FDR wanted to enter WWII on the side of the Allies, and it is very likely he allowed the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor to facilitate that goal. FDR certainly did everything he could to goad the Japanese into some military retaliation by restricting their oil imports.
Notice how no rationale is ever presented by the US 4th Estate for that attack - EVER! That should tell you something.
Did Japanese not like Americans’ unslanted eyes? Were they envious of American baseball? Did they hold a grudge because lots of Japanese had migrated to America? Why did they attack Pearl Harbor? Give us some reason, regardless how ridiculous! Nothing! Not one word as to Japanese motivation.
We always justify our own war motives, but rarely the “enemy’s”! That might give away some of America’s own DUPLICITY! Better we concentrate on their slanted eyes, attack without warning and propensity to practice Jujitsu! Never mention any slights to them by us, whether real or perceived!
Today presidents decide what they would like to do, and then set about finding Excuses to JUSTIFY those actions! That is precisely Tabacco’s definition of
PS Your children use SRE all the time. How about your spouse, parent, other relative or friend! We all know somebody who does it repeatedly. Lying is part and parcel of the package.
Tabacco: I consider myself both a funnel and a filter. I funnel information, not readily available on the Mass Media, which is ignored and/or suppressed. I filter out the irrelevancies and trivialities to save both the time and effort of my Readers and bring consternation to the enemies of Truth & Fairness!
