Who is going to Regulate, Question & be Watchdog over Democrats - certainly not the MSM! Republicans in Obama White House is SUICIDE for America. The Founding Fathers never intended such FRATERNIZATION! As William Hurt said to Kathleen Turner in ‘Body Heat’, “Experience shows that I can be convinced of anything!”
You hear everyone on TV suggest it’s a great idea for the Obama administration to be inclusive - to include members of the Republican Party so we can “get things done”. That is fallacious for 3 reasons: 1- The GOP has been ripping off America for the past 8 years with its Disaster Capitalist acts; 2- If Republicans don’t form the “Opposition Party”, then who will? And 3- Why must Democrats share Power when Republicans NEVER DO!
As far as “getting things done” goes, the only way Republicans compromise is by including Earmarks for Have-Mores. Why must the Rich always attend EVERY BANQUET!
Yes, this Formal “Fraternization” idea sounds good on the surface (if you are the Gullible type), but when you analyze likely results, you will conclude that this will become the 3rd Bush Regime - at least on the Economic Front.
With Billion$ of Dollar$ at stake, America needs Watchdogs, lots of them, not Compromise, Civility and a Democratic-Republican Conspiracy of the Willing!
Democrats declined to act as Watchdogs during Bush’s 2 terms. To date they have not told the Truth about the Financial Interests of that president and his Klan Brothers. Quite possibly, that has more to do with Democrats feeding at the same Trough rather than just being intimidated and afraid of GOP retaliation, should they speak the Truth.
Republicans, on the other hand, are fearless. The ludicrous nature of their arguments and positions favoring only Big Biz & Have-Mores notwithstanding, Republicans generally act fearlessly except just prior to November in even years. GOPers know the Voters usually forget Abominations, achieved 6 months prior to Elections.
The MSM (Mainstream Media) consorted with the Bush Neocons to beguile us into that dastardly War in Iraq.
The Clinton Regime, not Bush, gave us NAFTA. Of course Bush has added other FTAs on his own. He is now pushing for Colombia’s share of the Neocon Pie. Then, when he sees he can’t get his way in Congress, Bush demonstrates pique or “showmanship” by imposing Sanctions on Colombia. Is he merely trying to appear “Presidential” or is this just a ploy to get Colombia an FTA before November 20?
Then we have the latest bamboozle: THE WALL STREET BAILOUT, which benefits those, who created the Crisis, not the Victims of it. T.I.N.A. (There Is No Alternative) is an ABOMINABLE LIE now and always has been. The Truth is that it is the BEST WAY to put PROFITS in the Greedy Hands of those at the TOP OF AMERICA’S CAPITALIST PYRAMID!
Politicos fooled us with “Outsourcing”, “Globalization”, “WMDs”, “Wall Street Bailout” and “Terrorism as a Major Threat” - remember that auto accidents and cigarettes each kill more than 10 times as many Americans every year as we lost on 9/11/01 (7 years ago) - and 9/11/01 happened only once. We have been conned, cajoled, manipulated and frightened by MASTERS. Don’t fall for the same Trick again!
