Tabacco Apology To My Readers; Even I Get Sick Sometimes - Tabacco UPDATE 12/7/05

posted Saturday, 3 December 2005
I have really been in pain!  Sunday, December 4th, I went to the Emergency Room at Local Hospital.  The pain is on my left side, extending from my rib cage down my side.  I went on Internet and narrowed it down to my stomach or spleen.

X-rays confirmed it was the stomach.  I call it a blockage.  The ER folks said, "See, it's mostly gas".  I don't see how gas could keep my food from moving on or hurt like that.  Sometimes I'm OK, then bang and the pain comes back.

They gave me a prescription for 'Colase', a stool softener.  4 times a day for 5 days.  It isn't even prescription, but over-the-counter $26!  I expected immediate results - no way.

Saturday night I drank 8 ounces of prune juice - some noise, but no action.  Sunday morning I drank another 8 ounces - still no results.  I drank another 8 ounces - 24 ounces of P.J. in total, and still no action.  I GOT SCARED.  That's when I went to the E.R.

Since I've gone off the Low Carb Diet, I've become careless.  I've been overindulging in "Junk Foods".  My middle name is now candy-cookies-cheeze crackers.  For a few days I think I almost lived on the Cheez-Its.  That must be what caused the traffic jam.  I will never live on Cheez-Its again!

One day I ate only 1 can of chicken broth.  Today I ate nothing but 1 can of tomato bisque soup and 24 ounces of ginger ale - that's my own prescription.  I practically never drink soda.  I induced regurgitation on 2 occasions to reduce the pressure.  I have had 1 bowel movement in 7 days (yesterday).  But I'm not eating much.

Recovery is hopefully going to occur this year.  So that's the deal folks.  My first conclusion was that somehow the Bush people had poisoned me - NO JOKE!  It ain't impossible.
