Louisville, Ky. - Anne Braden, White, a longtime civil rights activist best known for trying to dismantle segregation by purchasing a home for a black family in an all-white Kentucky neighborhood in the 1950s, died Monday. She was 81.

The 1st White Inductee into Black Hall of Fame (BHOF) is John Brown, unsung hero, humanitarian & martyr, who deserves our remembrance, respect & admiration..He attacked Harper's Ferry 10/16/59. He was hanged December 2, 1859.. Honor that day!
