The Abortion Issue

The Abortion IssueThis topic belongs under the heading of “Medical” or “Moral”, not “Legal”. Americans used to have the right to privacy – under Bush and his new Supreme Court appointees, that right is disappearing fast. The whole nation is becoming a ‘Jerry Springer Show’. This is just one more reason to throw the Republicans out of office – permanently.
Neubie, a Reader of the Moonbatmonitor.blog-city blog, recently left the following Comment there:
Neubie made this comment,
Everyone should have a choice.....in certain circumstances. As MM said in his blog, rape/incest, mothers health etc.... I don't think abortion should be used as a birth control, which unfortunately some people do. You shouldn't have sex unless you are willing to take responsibilty for your actions.

Tabacco made the following reply, also on Moonbat’s blog:
Neubie:
Tabacco personally agrees that abortion is a bad thing. But that is just my opinion. I do not feel that I or anybody else has the right to tell any other individual what she MUST DO OR NOT DO with her own body. That’s between her, her God and her man. It’s not my business, and it’s not your business. You and other QuasiCons and Rapture Righters should learn how to mind your own business when it’s not your personal concern. I know you think it’s your “personal concern”, but any fool can see it’s NOT.
Your comment “You shouldn't have sex unless you are willing to take responsibilty for your actions.” is marvelous advice, but awful legislation. There is a major difference between advice and entreaty and its alternative – legislation. Politicians must not be granted that privilege. It’s unconstitutional. You should read the Constitution before you attempt to make national law.
You watch too much Maury, Jerry Springer etc etc. That’s TV, not life. You think it is life. That’s your problem. If jerks go on TV and wash their dirty clothes, it’s their prerogative. However, women, who want abortions, generally don’t go on Jerry Springer to receive public abuse and 15 minutes of fame. So nobody has a right to impose their own beliefs on others’ personal decisions. You may attempt to persuade; but you may NOT coerce or control. In international affairs, that’s known as colonialism or imperialism. And it’s always done for the benefit of the colonializer, not the colonialized. Persuade, yes. Restrict, restrain, control or coerce, NO!
