The Abortion Issue

posted Tuesday, 28 February 2006
The Abortion Issue

This topic belongs under the heading of “Medical” or “Moral”, not “Legal”.  Americans used to have the right to privacy – under Bush and his new Supreme Court appointees, that right is disappearing fast.  The whole nation is becoming a ‘Jerry Springer Show’.  This is just one more reason to throw the Republicans out of office – permanently.

Neubie, a Reader of the Moonbatmonitor.blog-city blog, recently left the following Comment there:

Neubie made this comment,
Everyone should have a choice.....in certain circumstances. As MM said in his blog, rape/incest, mothers health etc.... I don't think abortion should be used as a birth control, which unfortunately some people do. You shouldn't have sex unless you are willing to take responsibilty for your actions.

Tabacco made the following reply, also on Moonbat’s blog:

Neubie:

Tabacco personally agrees that abortion is a bad thing.  But that is just my opinion.  I do not feel that I or anybody else has the right to tell any other individual what she MUST DO OR NOT DO with her own body.  That’s between her, her God and her man.  It’s not my business, and it’s not your business.  You and other QuasiCons and Rapture Righters should learn how to mind your own business when it’s not your personal concern.  I know you think it’s your “personal concern”, but any fool can see it’s NOT.

Your comment “You shouldn't have sex unless you are willing to take responsibilty for your actions.” is marvelous advice, but awful legislation.  There is a major difference between advice and entreaty and its alternative – legislation.  Politicians must not be granted that privilege.  It’s unconstitutional.  You should read the Constitution before you attempt to make national law.

You watch too much Maury, Jerry Springer etc etc.  That’s TV, not life.  You think it is life. That’s your problem.  If jerks go on TV and wash their dirty clothes, it’s their prerogative.  However, women, who want abortions, generally don’t go on Jerry Springer to receive public abuse and 15 minutes of fame.  So nobody has a right to impose their own beliefs on others’ personal decisions.  You may attempt to persuade; but you may NOT coerce or control.  In international affairs, that’s known as colonialism or imperialism.  And it’s always done for the benefit of the colonializer, not the colonialized.  Persuade, yes.  Restrict, restrain, control or coerce, NO!

WHY BUSH WANTS TO STOP ABORTION IN AMERICA

1- Same as Hitler's motive: to produce soldiers for his next generation of wars. Poor people's children will volunteer for military service because they have few options. Rich people's kids will not volunteer. The military will become a poor man's army - that's pretty much how it is now. A very high percentage of Black, Latino and other minorities. The rest are poor Whites. Only the officers are predominantly upper-middleclass or middleclass. They attended college and took ROTC or went to military academies.

2- To pacify his Rapture Right Evangelicals, not because Bush has any moral concern, but because the Rapture Right are very politically motivated, loud, loyal and generous with politicl campaign contributions.

3- If "Have-Mores" need to get an abortion, they hop on a plane to Canada or Paris or Rome, get the job done there plus a vacation. American laws prohibiting abortion only apply stateside. Such laws will have no effect on the rich - only a minor inconvenience. Anti-abortion laws will in effect only apply to poor people. The same group that will supply soldiers for America's military imperialism in the 21st century. Bush could not care less about rich people getting abortions - so long as they do it abroad.

That's why Bush doesn't want poor folks to have abortions; each poor baby represents a potential future soldier. That's why Hitler instituted homes for unwed mothers in Nazi Germany on the Q.T. When those mothers gave birth, the children belonged to the State, not the mothers. He was producing future Storm Troopers.

Notice how many military commercials today involve a Black youth, who has decided to "do something important" for his country - propaganda aimed at minorities, who are poor and can't get a decent job anyway. This whole plan all works - all the pieces fit together nicely - for the RICH!

Poor peoples' children enlist, get killed in Iraq or some other oil-producing country, so Bush, Cheney, Halliburton & papa Bush can make their $-billions. That's also why there will NEVER BE ANOTHER DRAFT - Rich Haves & Have-Mores will never go for it because their children could get killed in Iraq. Let the poor go get killed - there are lots of them.

That's the rationale for the people on top of the anti-abortion movement. Of course the Evangelicals, Catholics and poor Republican dupes are sincere in their support because they don't understand what I have just explained to you. Ignorance is a terrible thing to have - but a marvelous thing to exploit. Just imagine people volunteering to die for you because they don't have any other choice.

What Machiavellian thinking! And it all depends on the people remaining ignorant and poor. Without those two factors, the whole plan fails.

It's the same rationale as capitalism. If all Americans were rich, who would pick up the garbage, work at McDonalds or be a cop and risk being shot? Capitalism never intended that everyone should get rich. Without poor people, capitalism would fail too. That's why Bush leaves the borders open to Mexican illegals. There is something to his rationale about Americans not wanting to work for peanuts. But poor Mexican peons will gladly.

Everything Bush does is intended to make money for somebody - national security and democracy be damned.
