The System But

The problem is not so much with capitalism as it is with capitalists.
The problem is not so much with socialism as it is with socialists.
The problem is not so much with democracy as it is with democrats.
The problem is not so much with totalitarianism as it is with totalitarians.
The problem is not so much with Christianity as it is with Christians.
The problem is not so much with Judaism as it is with Jews.
And the problem is not so much with Islam as it is with Islamists.
Regardless of what social, national, economic or religious system is used, those with the power will always seek to corrupt that system to their own advantage.
The problem is not so much with the system, whatever it is; the problem is with the rich & powerful, who corrupt that system to their own advantage and to the detriment of the masses - the problem is not the system but the people, who control it - in short the selfishness of the rich & powerful!
You must never grant absolute power to any leader, regardless of the Excuse, be it social, economic, national, political, or religious. If you grant them the opportunity, someone will grab it!
The police must never be allowed to police themselves.
The military must never be allowed to be its own overseer.
The church leader must never be granted papal authority or legal self-policing ability.
The president, governor, or mayor must never be granted absolute power, regardless of the emergency.
Instead of tweaking the system, we must control and/or eradicate those, who corrupt it. However, those in control will never, of their own accord, pursue that strategy because they themselves are part of the problem, not the solution.
Tabacco: I consider myself both a funnel and a filter. I funnel information, not readily available on the Mass Media, which is ignored and/or suppressed. I filter out the irrelevancies and trivialities to save both the time and effort of my Readers and bring consternation to the enemies of Truth & Fairness! When you read Tabacco, if you don’t learn something NEW, I’ve wasted your time.
