TOWN HALLS - I Had To See For Myself! 10-5-09 My Rep, Steve Israel, Held Meeting At Suffolk County Community College - Carpetbagger Goon Squad Showed Up As Anticipated. It's Worse Than I Thought!

TOWN HALLS -

I Had To See For

Myself! 10-5-09

My Representative,

Steve Israel, Held

Meeting At Suffolk

County Community

College - The

Carpetbagger Goon

Squad Showed Up

As Anticipated. I

Learned A Lot

About Them As

Individuals & As

A Group: It’s

Worse Than I

Thought!

"It is better to remain silent

and be thought a fool than

to open one's mouth and

remove all doubt"

Tabacco: The Goons ranted, interrupted and obstructed, but not as much as I had seen on TV. They are running out of steam, undereducated, bussed to events and are PAID TO PERFORM! Once I got involved with them, I learned a lot about the Goon Squad.

Standing outside in line before the event, I encountered a particularly nasty guy that I could not resist messing with. Generally, obvious anger with minimal provocation is a strong indication of very young children or insufficient IQ points.

If a young child is named Albert, and you repeatedly call him “Alvin”, it will usually drive him to distraction. Every time he corrects me, I call Albert “Alvin” again. Evidence of that child’s maturity and learning ability or lack thereof is how long it takes him to “get over” the ‘name game’.

So I played a variation of that ploy on this guy. This guy was no child! I set out to test my theory. I repeated everything I said 3 times - I mean everything-, which drove him crazy. So naturally I kept on doing it. Even when I explained I was baiting him, it didn’t help. My “trepeats” continued to exasperate him to no end. And I enjoyed it thoroughly!

There was a mousy guy with a cardboard listing 2 countries and 2 states in which government-run healthcare had failed, according to him. I reminded him of Minnesota’s Health Care Co-ops. He countered that his sign was only so big, and I pointed out to him that it was informative that Minnesota, alone, was chosen for exclusion from his sign. He got the point.

Then there was the woman with the violent temper and nasty disposition. She claimed that Rep. Israel would attempt to remove anyone, who disagreed with him. I said, “That would be unfair!” She stated I was making her “nauseous”, even though I had agreed with her, and she walked off in a huff. Gee, this is easy!

It seems these Goon Carpetbaggers can dish it out, but they can’t take it! They should never have revealed that flaw to me!

Rep. Steve Israel was borderline genius yesterday. First he separated the Carpetbaggers

outside by asking for addresses. Those Carpetbaggers, not in Israel’s District, were banished to the balcony of the Van Nostrand Theater where they could scream, wave their signs and demonstrate apart from the general audience.

Next, Israel put on a show of his own by honoring wounded veterans, a 4-man military march team, a standing pledge of allegiance by all and a verbal tribute meant to soften up the opposition. I knew it wouldn’t work, but Israel had other tricks up his sleeve.

His assistant took a hefty share of the questions, funneled through the LWV (League Of Women Voters). We filled out forms with a single question, the LWV selected the questions to be asked, read them aloud, then Israel decided who, among the 4 men on the dais, would respond.

Did my question get asked? No! Why not? Because I asked a politically tinged health care question re September 24th and Hillary’s Fund Raiser at Steve Elmendorf’s home (United Healthcare Lobbyist) coordinated by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) – that’s why not. After the Town Hall, I pigeonholed an LWV member, who admitted as much. I have lost my respect for the LWV!

There was Rep. Israel, his assistant, a doctor and a rep from AARP, who was soundly booed. Yes I booed him too! Apparently Americans not only pay attention but also have long memories. I was particularly pleased to witness that reaction.

Israel, by spreading the responsibility around, also spread around the verbal abuse. Very clever politician this Israel guy!

Rep. Israel asked the audience, “All those, who think Medicare is not a government program, please raise your hand!” Surprisingly only 4 hands went up! I guess the Insurance-financed, Carpetbagger leaders have tried to deprogram the Goons on that one, but those 4 either missed the deprogramming session or maybe it’s just that old habits die-hard.

Outside, after the event, I waited for a taxi after 8pm because buses stopped running around 7. There were 50-100 Carpetbagger Goons obviously waiting for a corporate bus. The Goon leader pumped up the Goons because their performance had been less than successful, information & logic deficient, and credibly unenthusiastic.

The leader spoke to them on a microphone, explaining what had just occurred as if they had not even been there. He criticized Steve Israel for having a security detail at the Town Hall. Can you believe that is considered less than macho with all these Goons present at every Town Hall!

In a few days, these same MERCENARIES will be performing at another Town Hall Meeting, riding the same bus, carrying the same signs, screaming the same epithets, non sequiturs, obscenities and outright lies, and receiving the same pay, courtesy of Insurance companies and pharmaceuticals.

Inside and downstairs, I was fortunate to sit next to a quasi-intelligent Republican “Goon”, who had her own transportation, obviously was not paid for her participation, obstructed occasionally, got up and left before the meeting ended. My presence next to her may have been a contributing factor.

There was another self-identified Republican wearing a red T-shirt with political writing, sitting directly in front of me. She actually came to learn. See, folks, there actually are a few intelligent Republicans!

But the worst part about these automatons is not their ignorance but their stupidity! The guy sitting behind me yelled out, “That’s unconstitutional!” I turned around and asked him to recite the PREAMBLE. He asked, “What Preamble?” I just turned back around in disgust and ignored him after that.

But my favorite moron was the guy to my right, who thought Tort Reform was a splendid idea, complained because I did not stand for the soldiers in the beginning with everyone else. I recited the pledge of allegiance while seated. Obviously I had riled him already. When you really get someone’s goat, that’s the time to find out what they are made of.

When I explained I opposed War, particularly unnecessary wars, he could not understand why I would not support an “American” war. He obviously didn’t get it!

The “right” guy shouted out that insurance companies contributed "innovation"? Once I recovered from the shock of his using the word “innovation” in a sentence correctly, although the essence of his assertion made no sense, I informed him he must mean pharmaceuticals because insurance companies are just middlemen, which collect our premium payments, scrape their profits off the top and distribute as little as possible to doctors and hospitals.

My goal had been to irritate the Goons I knew would show up. I wanted particularly to make them face their own ignorance. Dumb Whites have a particularly hard time dealing with a Black man showing them up in front of their own cohorts. I was in particularly great form last night! If the rest of us, unable to hear the people on stage, were going to suffer, so would they!

Later “right” guy announced haughtily, “I’m not going to pay for anybody else’s abortion!” I responded quickly, “I’d pay for yours!”

SEE THE INSURANCE TV PROPAGANDA ABOUT FAILING MEDICARE?

If the US government doubled Medicare PREMIUMS for recipients including Tabacco, Medicare would still be cheaper than almost ALL PRIVATE HEALTH CARE INSURANCE!

You've seen those CPR (Conservatives For Patients' Rights) commercials on TV. CPR is a front group for the insurance industry.

"... a government run, public option health care plan is a bad idea.. it's time to get on with real reform. Let's lower premiums by allowing insurers to compete across State lines, give everyone the tax breaks businesses get for insurance, and require health care providers to disclose their prices and performance.

Let's move on, Mr. President! Drop your government-run public option plan and put patients first!"

How do we know they are lying? Because if those initiatives would actually lower our premiums and THEIR PROFITS significantly, they wouldn't be suggesting them!

“a government run, public option health care plan is a bad idea” – What they don’t tell us is ‘WHY it’s a bad idea!’ I’m sure we’d all love to know.

“Let's lower premiums by allowing insurers to compete across State lines” – That will lead to a Trust of the FEW as we now have in Advertising Agencies, Oil Companies, Major Media entities and other Business firms too big to fail. Trusts are BAD FOR US because it restricts choice and options!

“.. require health care providers to disclose their prices and performance” – Nobody restricts insurance companies from “disclosing their prices and performance” NOW! Undoubtedly, this is a PACIFIER, which will have no effect on insurance companies. They already give us their prices at the drop of a syllable. As to disclosing their “performance”, that is an invitation for self-approbation and nothing more.

Do you really expect insurance companies to disclose which and how many claims they decline, how many applicants they reject and how many truly sick members they uninsure because those people now need insurance?

“Drop your government-run public option plan and put patients first!" – That’s what a public-option does – put patients first! What the front group CPR does is put insurance companies first!

This is today’s PHONY PROPAGANDA expose!
