Tabacco: At 7pm tonight when the John Edwards’ endorsement of Barack Obama for president was ending, Lou Dobbs Tonight was just coming on CNN. Over Obama’s remarks in the background, Lou attempted to denigrate Michigan voters, saying he could not understand how these voters would vote Democratic after being disenfranchised by the DNC. If you needed any further proof that Lou Dobbs is NOT Independent and is attempting to help John McCain become president, this is it. Dobbs is appealing to emotions, not intellect – that’s the unmistakable sign of the Sophist!
By implication, Lou Dobbs is saying to Michiganders that being disenfranchised of their vote in the Democratic Primaries is more important as a “slight” than getting rid of the GOP and getting the country back from the Neocon (QuasiCon) Disaster Capitalists, who control the Republican Party. That of course is ridiculous! Lou Dobbs’ comments are ridiculous. Lou Dobbs is not a ridiculous man. He is a LIAR, a WOLF IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING, a SOPHIST and a CLOSET REPUBLICAN! If you seek political advice, never seek it from your enemies. They will offer the same type of helpful advice that Brer Rabbit offered to his enemies like Brer Bear:

Lou Dobbs, in Reverse Brer Rabbit mode, advised Michigan’s Democrats to throw the Democratic nominee into the “Briar Patch” and elect John McCain instead. But Americans are getting better information, thanks to the Internet. Americans are no longer at the mercy of the MSM (Mainstream Media). We are not nearly as gullible as we were in 2001 or even 2003. Can anybody name just one of the major newspapers, major radio networks, major television networks, which is owned by middle incomers? I know I can’t. Remember,
Cutting off one’s nose to spite one’s face is what poor Southern Whites have been doing since the 1860s. They voted Democratic for 100 years because Abe Lincoln was a Republican. Then they switched their votes, if not their Party registration, to the Republican Party because Kennedy and Johnson, Democrats, initiated programs, which helped Blacks. After 143 years of voting against their own best financial interests, the day may finally be here when poor Southern Whites, like those in West Virginia, will finally vote their financial self-interests over their biases.
And lastly the Mainstream Media has an interest in making the “Horse Race”. That means they must attack the leader, not the followers. They began by attacking Hillary because she was the presumptive Democratic nominee. When it finally became apparent that Obama was the “leader”, they began attacking Obama with all sorts of scurrilous topics having nothing to do with issues. If you doubt my analysis, ask yourself why John McCain can barely get a mention this side of Fox or MSNBC! John McCain is not in a horserace of any kind since Mike Huckabee gave up. If there is no horserace, you get no reporting. After all, how often do you hear the MSM discuss actual issues!
First, Edwards’ endorsement announces to America that the “horserace” is over. Hillary already knew it! But her goal was to make Obama so weak that he lost in November, leaving 2012 open to another Hillary Clinton candidacy. Don’t worry! Both Obama and Edwards know what she’s up to. But they cannot afford to offend her naïve supporters. These supporters will be needed in November.
Second, his endorsement will diminish Hillary’s numbers in the remaining Primaries. If she wins by 10 points, she could have won by 20 points if Edwards had not given his endorsement. Some supporters will just stay home; others will vote for Obama. Where are the Huckabee voters now? In fact, the Republican Primary results are not even reported anymore.
Psychologically, Hillary’s most ardent supporters will be hard-pressed to summon up any enthusiasm for a candidate, who is obviously DEAD IN THE WATER. How enthusiastic are you when your NBA team is behind by 25 points with 3 minutes to play? How enthusiastic are you when your NFL team is behind by 17 points when the 2-minute warning is sounded? How enthusiastic are you when your MLB team is behind by 5 runs in the top of the ninth inning with 2 outs and a count of 0-2?
Despite all the lovely rhetoric from the mouths of Edwards and Obama re Dame Clinton, the Edwards’ endorsement is a ‘SLAP IN THE MOUTH’ to both Bill and Hillary. She must “make nice” from now on in the remaining Primaries or look like the selfish capitalist she is. Only by doing that can she save what’s left of both their sordid reputations.
Finally, it smells to me (Sniff, Sniff, Sniff) like a Barack Obama – John Edwards Democratic Ticket in November. If the Democrats win, and America doesn’t get stupid on us again, the potential is a two-term Obama presidency followed by a two-term Edwards’ presidency, which would take us to 2024. Hillary’s presidential opportunity dies after 2012. This is a fitting end for a selfish, money-grabbing couple like the Clintons, who would give the Republican Party another 4 years of raping our Taxes, murdering our young, giving away our jobs, depressing our home values and creating a planet of Have-Mores and Have-Nots just so Hillary can run again in 2012. I don’t think that’s a “Fair Trade”! Do you?
Tabacco: I consider myself both a funnel and a filter. I funnel information, not readily available on the Mass Media, which is ignored and/or suppressed. I filter out the irrelevancies and trivialities to save both the time and effort of my Readers and bring consternation to the enemies of Truth & Fairness!
